II have created many social media 'inhakers' for various companies. Such as HEMA, Samsung, Thuisbezorgd etc. 'inhakers' means responding quickly to news events and unexpected events. This is a very effective and successful way to get more attention and reach for a brand. In recent years, there have been many inhakers in the news that were widely shared on Facebook and Twitter. Many brands are catching on to well-known holidays and moments, but it has been found that the most popular inhakers come from the unexpected moments. The strongest inhakers use their brand, product or service as a guide to create an inhaker. This makes the inhaker unique to their brand. Below are some of the best-known inhakers I have created.
I created this inhaker for King's Day 2016 for HEMA. This inhaker ended up going viral. The approach was a typical Dutch post with a big wink and, of course, a nice link to a HEMA product.
This inhaker was featured in the newspaper and was eventually used by Thuisbezorgd as a promotion. The brief was to appeal directly to Thuisbezorgd's customer, with a funny twist.
Once again, an inhaker for Thuisbezorgd launched during Christmas.
At the time, Chio was an upcoming brand in the Netherlands. The assignment was to help think of a recognisable moment for the possible buyer of Chio.
I have designed many such images for Samsung. Always a nice image of the products and gadgets, but still a catchy tone.
Another concept + copy + photoshop for Samsung for gay pride. The joke with link to the product is immediately obvious.
This was an posting for Inshared, which they used on their website and social media. It was a inhaker for Father's Day.
This image was featured in a HEMA newspaper as well as its social media channels. A fun fact is that the ‘stretcher’ in question was sold out within a day for the longest day of the year.
